The stupid api issue seems to be resolved now : https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=68063
although its not mentioned, but a quick test was positive.

So, removing the workaround, it fixes the issue of burst notification as mention on this issue : https://gitlab.com/AuroraOSS/AuroraStore/issues/98
