* fix(stablediffusion-ggml): pass chroma knobs via model_args after upstream API change
Upstream stable-diffusion.cpp bb849711 removed the dedicated
chroma_use_dit_mask / chroma_use_t5_mask / chroma_t5_mask_pad fields from
sd_ctx_params_t and now reads them from the generic model_args key=value
spec (parse_key_value_args). Assigning the old struct members broke the
gosd.cpp build. Emit the three options into model_args instead so the
existing chroma controls keep working. Verified by building
libgosd-fallback.so against the pinned upstream commit.

fix(backends): quote $CURDIR in run.sh so backends work in paths with spaces
The backend launcher scripts derive their own directory with
CURDIR=$(dirname "$(realpath $0)") and then referenced it unquoted as
$CURDIR (e.g. [ -f $CURDIR/lib/ld.so ], export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$CURDIR/lib:...,
exec $CURDIR/<binary> "$@"). When a backend is installed under a path that
contains a space - notably macOS's ~/Library/Application Support/... - bash
word-splits the unquoted $CURDIR, so the test builtin fails with
"binary operator expected" and exec tries to run ".../Library/Application",
yielding "No such file or directory". The backend never starts, surfacing as
a gRPC "service not ready" error and an HTTP 500. Quote $CURDIR (and the
realpath "$0") in every affected run.sh; no logic changes.

* fix(parakeet-cpp): darwin/metal support (libparakeet.dylib + DYLD path)
The parakeet-cpp backend had no macOS support and panicked at startup on
Apple/Metal nodes when purego.Dlopen could not find "libparakeet.so".
Fix it across the same four layers the sibling voxtral backend already
handles correctly:
- main.go: default the dlopen target to libparakeet.dylib on darwin
(runtime.GOOS), libparakeet.so elsewhere; PARAKEET_LIBRARY still wins.
- Makefile: also stage the built libparakeet.dylib next to the Go sources.
- package.sh: accept either the Linux .so[.X.Y] or the macOS .dylib when
bundling instead of hard-failing when no .so is present (the macOS case);
note that on Darwin only system frameworks are linked.
- run.sh: on Darwin set DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH and PARAKEET_LIBRARY to the
packaged .dylib; keep LD_LIBRARY_PATH + .so on Linux.
Mirrors backend/go/voxtral.

* fix(backends): darwin/metal support across purego Go backends
The parakeet-cpp fix in the previous commit was an instance of a bug
shared by nearly every purego/dlopen Go backend: the dlopen target was
hardcoded to a .so name and run.sh exported only LD_LIBRARY_PATH, so the
backend panicked at startup on macOS/Apple-Metal nodes (dyld needs the
.dylib name and DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH). voxtral was the only backend handling
this correctly.
Apply the same four-layer fix (mirroring backend/go/voxtral) to the
remaining affected backends:
whisper, sherpa-onnx, ced, stablediffusion-ggml, vibevoice-cpp,
qwen3-tts-cpp, omnivoice-cpp, crispasr, acestep-cpp, locate-anything-cpp,
depth-anything-cpp, rfdetr-cpp, sam3-cpp, localvqe
Per backend:
- main.go (sherpa-onnx: backend.go, two libraries): default the dlopen
target to the .dylib on darwin (runtime.GOOS), .so elsewhere; the
existing <BACKEND>_LIBRARY env override still wins.
- run.sh: on Darwin set DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH and point <BACKEND>_LIBRARY at
the packaged .dylib; keep LD_LIBRARY_PATH + the Linux CPU-variant
(avx/avx2/avx512) selection unchanged in the else branch.
- package.sh: also bundle the .dylib and stop hard-failing when no .so is
present (the macOS case).
- Makefile: also stage the built .dylib.
Notes:
- stablediffusion-ggml and acestep-cpp build their lib as a CMake MODULE,
which emits .so (not .dylib) on macOS; run.sh prefers .dylib and falls
back to .so so both layouts work.
- sherpa-onnx was already partly darwin-aware (Makefile/package.sh); only
run.sh and the two dlopen defaults needed fixing.
Linux behavior is unchanged. Verified gofmt-clean and
`CGO_ENABLED=0 go build` for every backend.

* fix(stablediffusion-ggml): adapt gosd.cpp to upstream sd_ctx_params_t API
The bump to 5a34bc7 restructured sd_ctx_params_t: the boolean CPU-offload
knobs (offload_params_to_cpu, keep_clip_on_cpu, keep_vae_on_cpu,
keep_control_net_on_cpu) were replaced by backend assignment specs
(backend/params_backend), and vae_decode_only / free_params_immediately
were dropped entirely. The build broke with "no member named ..." on
every arch.
Translate the legacy options we still accept from gallery configs into
the new backend assignment specs, mirroring prepare_backend_assignments()
in the upstream CLI, so offload_params_to_cpu / keep_*_on_cpu keep
working. vae_decode_only is parsed and ignored for config compatibility.

The upstream bump introduced new sd_ctx_params_t fields for device and
memory placement (backend, params_backend, rpc_servers, max_vram,
stream_layers) plus PuLID-Flux weights (pulid_weights_path). Wire them up
as backend options so models can be split across CPU/GPU/disk/RPC:
- backend: per-component compute placement (e.g. clip=cpu,vae=cuda0)
- params_backend: per-component weight storage incl. disk mmap
- max_vram / stream_layers: graph-cut segmented parameter offload budget
- rpc_servers: offload compute to remote RPC servers
- pulid_weights_path: PuLID-Flux identity injection
The legacy keep_*_on_cpu / offload_params_to_cpu booleans now seed and
compose with the explicit backend/params_backend specs, matching upstream
prepare_backend_assignments(). Option values are taken as everything after
the first ':' so colon-bearing values (rpc_servers host:port) survive
parsing. Documented the new options in the image-generation guide.

* feat(stablediffusion-ggml): distributed RPC across ggml workers
Enable the ggml RPC backend (-DSD_RPC=ON) so image generation can be
sharded across remote rpc-server workers. The ggml rpc-server is
backend-agnostic, so this reuses the exact same worker pool as the
llama.cpp backend - one set of `local-ai worker llama-cpp-rpc` /
`p2p-llama-cpp-rpc` workers accelerates both text and image generation.
RPC servers are selected by precedence:
- the explicit `rpc_servers` option, else
- the LLAMACPP_GRPC_SERVERS env var, which LocalAI's p2p worker mode
populates automatically with discovered workers (the backend inherits
it from the parent process env), so distributed image generation needs
no per-model configuration.
Documented manual and p2p setup in the image-generation guide.

Bump stable-diffusion.cpp from 1f9ee88 to b9254dd, the upstream commit that
adds Ideogram4 support (leejet/stable-diffusion.cpp#1609). Ideogram4 derives
its classifier-free guidance from a separate unconditional diffusion model,
exposed upstream through the new sd_ctx_params_t.uncond_diffusion_model_path
field.
Wire that field into the gosd wrapper via a new uncond_diffusion_model_path
option. The _path suffix is deliberate: the Go loader only resolves options
whose name contains "path" to an absolute path under the model directory, so
this keeps the option consistent with diffusion_model_path and
high_noise_diffusion_model_path.

* feat(gallery): add Ideogram4 stablediffusion-ggml models
Single-file GGUF weights for Ideogram4 are now published
(stduhpf/ideogram-4-gguf), so add the model to the gallery. Ideogram4 is a
text-to-image model with strong, accurate in-image text rendering, driven by
a Qwen3-VL-8B text encoder and real classifier-free guidance from a separate
unconditional diffusion model (the uncond_diffusion_model_path support added
in the preceding commit).
Two index entries, both built on gallery/virtual.yaml with the full config
inlined in overrides (same pattern as the other models, no dedicated template
file):
- ideogram-4-iq4nl-ggml (4-bit, ~11.6GB diffusion)
- ideogram-4-q8_0-ggml (8-bit, ~20GB diffusion)
Each bundles the diffusion + unconditional GGUF (stduhpf), the
Qwen3-VL-8B-Instruct text encoder (unsloth), and the FLUX.2 VAE (Comfy-Org
mirror, non-gated). cfg_scale is 7 to match the upstream Ideogram4 default,
since it performs real CFG unlike the guidance-distilled Flux/Z-Image models.

feat(stablediffusion-ggml): mux LTX-2 audio into output MP4
sd.cpp's generate_video now returns a sd_audio_t* alongside the video
frames for models with an audio VAE (LTX-2.3). Our gosd wrapper was
already collecting that pointer but immediately freed it without ever
muxing it into the output, so LTX-2 generations landed as silent MP4s
even though the audio VAE decode succeeded.
Stage the planar float32 waveform to a temp WAV (IEEE float, header
hand-built; samples interleaved on the fly), then add it as a second
ffmpeg input with -c:a aac -map 0:v:0 -map 1:a:0 -shortest. The temp
WAV is cleaned up unconditionally after ffmpeg exits, including on
the write/waitpid error paths.
Non-LTX models (Wan i2v / FLF2V) keep their current behaviour: audio
arg is nullptr, the audio-related ffmpeg flags are not added, and no
temp file is created.

stable-diffusion.cpp gained LTX-2 video generation, which requires an
audio VAE and an embeddings_connectors safetensors in addition to the
usual diffusion model, VAE, and LLM text encoder. The pinned commit
exposes audio_vae_path and embeddings_connectors_path on
sd_ctx_params_t; wire both through the option parser so gallery entries
can point at the LTX-specific assets.
Ship six LTX-2.3 GGUF gallery entries (dev + distilled, UD-Q4_K_M /
Q4_K_M / Q8_0 each) backed by a new ltx-ggml.yaml template that
defaults to euler / cfg_scale 6.0 / vae_decode_only:false /
diffusion_flash_attn / offload_params_to_cpu — matching the upstream
LTX-2 CLI recipe. Each entry pulls the model GGUF plus the QAT
gemma-3-12b-it text encoder, video VAE, audio VAE, and embeddings
connectors needed for T2V / I2V / FLF2V.

Adapt the C++ wrapper to the new `generate_video()` signature: upstream now
returns `bool` and writes frames/audio via out-parameters (`sd_image_t**`,
`sd_audio_t**`). Also set `p->fps` on the params struct (new upstream field)
and free the returned audio handle on both the success and error paths.

* chore: add golangci-lint with new-from-merge-base baseline
Configure golangci-lint v2 with the standard linter set (errcheck, govet,
ineffassign, unused) plus forbidigo, which enforces the Ginkgo/Gomega-only
test convention from .agents/coding-style.md by rejecting stdlib testing
calls (t.Errorf, t.Fatalf, t.Run, ...). staticcheck is disabled — the
codebase has many pre-existing QF-style suggestions not worth gating on.
issues.new-from-merge-base = master makes the lint job a gate for new
issues only; the ~1300 pre-existing baseline stays visible via
'make lint-all' for incremental cleanup. CI runs 'make lint'.
Backends needing C/C++ headers we don't install in the lint runner are
excluded via a deny list in the Makefile (backend/go/{piper,silero-vad,
llm}, cmd/launcher). Discovery still flows through 'go list ./...', so
new packages are scanned automatically.
To make backend/go/{sam3-cpp,stablediffusion-ggml,whisper} typecheckable,
move their .cpp/.h sources into cpp/ subdirs (matching qwen3-tts-cpp /
acestep-cpp). Without this 'go list' rejects the package because Go does
not allow .cpp alongside .go without cgo.
Fix two real bugs found by lint in tests/integration/ (run only via
'make test-stores', not default CI): a stale zerolog reference left over
from the slog migration (c37785b7) and an unused 'os' import.

* ci(lint): generate proto sources and fetch full history
The lint job was failing for two reasons:
- pkg/grpc/proto/*.go is generated, not checked in. Several packages
import it, so without 'make protogen-go' typecheck fails project-wide
with "no required module provides package github.com/mudler/LocalAI/
pkg/grpc/proto".
- golangci-lint's new-from-merge-base needs to git-merge-base the PR
against master, but actions/checkout's default shallow clone doesn't
fetch master. fetch-depth: 0 brings full history; the config now
references origin/master (the remote-tracking branch that survives
the shallow checkout) instead of bare master (which doesn't exist
locally after checkout).

core/http/app.go has //go:embed react-ui/dist/*. The glob must match at
least one non-hidden entry or typecheck fails the whole core/http
package. We don't need the real React bundle to lint Go code, so just

gen_video's ffmpeg subprocess was relying on the filename extension to
choose the output container. Distributed LocalAI hands the backend a
staging path (e.g. /staging/localai-output-NNN.tmp) that is renamed to
.mp4 only after the backend returns, so ffmpeg saw a .tmp extension and
bailed with "Unable to choose an output format". Inference had already
completed and the frames were piped in, producing the cryptic
"video inference failed (code 1)" at the API layer.
Pass -f mp4 explicitly so the container is selected by flag instead of
by filename suffix.
