Imran Remtulla 0620618da8 fix(sourceforge): restore main's catch-all in getVersion ...

The outer catch was narrowed to RangeError, so a non-range version-extraction
error aborted the whole update check instead of skipping the release. Restore
main's catch-all so parsing failures just skip the release.
