Hid the separator between search field and buttons.

5d7700dd16 Standardized the menus a bit: 
- Created an Edit menu
- Moved Global preferences to the Edit menu as the stock Preferences item
- Changed the Quit menu item to the stock item
- Added an Alt+V shortcut for the View menu.
