`"Foo" | None` fails at runtime on Python 3.10–3.13 because str doesn't implement __or__. This only works on 3.14+ where PEP 749 defers annotation evaluation. Add a check for this pattern alongside the existing conditional import check so we catch it before it reaches users. """Check for annotation syntax that crashes on Python < 3.14.
Without `from __future__ import annotations`, Python 3.10-3.13 evaluates
annotations eagerly at class/function definition time. This catches two
classes of errors:
1. Unquoted references to conditional imports — the name may not exist at
runtime. See https://github.com/lutris/lutris/issues/6552.
2. String literals used as operands in | unions (e.g. `"Foo" | None`) —
str.__or__ doesn't exist, so this raises TypeError. Works on 3.14+
(PEP 749 defers annotation evaluation) but crashes on earlier versions.
See https://github.com/lutris/lutris/pull/6595.
