When a package is patched and its package.json has dependencies, optionalDependencies, or peerDependencies modified or removed, pnpm patch-commit now updates the corresponding lockfile snapshot and prunes unreachable packages prior to re-resolving install in both pnpm v11 and pnpm v12 (pacquet). Closes pnpm/pnpm#6866.
