slvnlrt 7b867ef4f1 fix(windows): only strip \?\ prefix on drive-letter paths ...

Volume GUIDs (\?\Volume{...}\) and other verbatim forms are invalid
without the prefix. Only strip when followed by a drive letter (X:\).
