## Why Follow-up to #25926. Dependabot #1993 / #1996 (HIGH, GHSA-qxc2-j82w-r537, `helpers.fake` code execution) breach their SLA in 19 days. `@faker-js/faker` is a runtime dependency of twenty-server (`generate-random-field-value.util.ts` in the OpenAPI module), so it ships in the prod image and Inspector flags it there too. ## What **@faker-js/faker 9.8.0 → 10.5.0** in `twenty-server`. The 10.0.0 breaking change is "remove deprecations": everything twenty-server calls (`string.uuid`, `number.int/float`, `person.*`, `location.*`, `internet.*`, `date.soon/anytime`, `string.fromCharacters`) is the non-deprecated API and compiles unchanged. **Jest**: faker 10 ships ESM only, so `@faker-js` joins the server `transformIgnorePatterns` allow-list in both the unit and the integration config (same mechanism as the htmlparser2 entry from #25926). At runtime the CommonJS server `require()`s it fine on Node 24 (verified on 24.5 locally; the image runs 24.19). The seeded-faker inline snapshot in `components.utils.spec.ts` is refreshed: faker 10's locale data yields different names/emails for the same seed, the schema shape is unchanged. Formatted with the repo's `oxfmt`; the `.snap` header is untouched. The extract-zip / puppeteer resolution that was initially bundled here moved to its own PR, per review, so each can be rolled back independently. ## Verification - `twenty-server` typecheck passes on faker 10. - The 51 suites that use the faker mocks (open-api utils, flat-field/object/index metadata, utils) pass: 312 tests. - `oxfmt --check` passes on the touched spec.
