claude/dmshell-on-develop
r112 compares 2.8.1, develop and this branch, and neither of the first two can carry MESHTASTIC_BENCH_INSTRUMENTATION. It turns on the radio-edge lines, the TX timeline, the slow-thread log and the millisecond log stamps, and r63 found that log volume can change the loss a board shows - so having it on one side of the comparison would be putting a known confound into the measurement. The flag defaults to 0 and changes no behaviour by design, but no build of this branch has had it off before, so this is the configuration to compile first. -dmshell-next keeps it for diagnostic runs. RADIOLIB_GODMODE stays in the r112 envs: the LR11x0 and LR2021 quanta #error without it. Overview
This repository contains the official device firmware for Meshtastic, an open-source LoRa mesh networking project designed for long-range, low-power communication without relying on internet or cellular infrastructure. The firmware supports various hardware platforms, including ESP32, nRF52, RP2040/RP2350, and Linux-based devices.
Meshtastic enables text messaging, location sharing, and telemetry over a decentralized mesh network, making it ideal for outdoor adventures, emergency preparedness, and remote operations.
