Off by default meant no shipped build changed: nothing in the tree set RADIO_SPI_BULK, so the override was never compiled in outside Portduino. Default it on for the two architectures that have a buffered call, which is where the measurement came from. The macro guards a virtual override, so every translation unit has to agree on it. It is set in the header for that reason rather than per-env; RadioLib itself never sees the macro and reaches the override through the pure virtual in Hal.h. Builds verified, with the boot string and the LockingArduinoHal::spiTransfer symbol checked in each image: tracker-t1000-e and rak4631 now carry the override by default, tbeam-s3-core likewise, native is unchanged, and -DRADIO_SPI_BULK=0 still compiles it out.
Overview
This repository contains the official device firmware for Meshtastic, an open-source LoRa mesh networking project designed for long-range, low-power communication without relying on internet or cellular infrastructure. The firmware supports various hardware platforms, including ESP32, nRF52, RP2040/RP2350, and Linux-based devices.
Meshtastic enables text messaging, location sharing, and telemetry over a decentralized mesh network, making it ideal for outdoor adventures, emergency preparedness, and remote operations.
