When ~/.local/share/fonts existed, Flatpak only bind-mounted that directory into the sandbox and ignored ~/.fonts. Users who still have fonts under the legacy path (common after desktop environments changed the default install location) therefore lost those fonts in Flatpak apps. Mount both directories when present: keep XDG fonts at /run/host/user-fonts, and expose ~/.fonts at /run/host/user-fonts-legacy with a matching fontconfig remap. If only ~/.fonts exists, keep the historical /run/host/user-fonts destination. Closes: #6869
Flatpak is a system for building, distributing, and running sandboxed desktop applications on Linux.
See https://flatpak.org/ for more information.
Flatpak is available in the package repositories of most Linux distributions and can be installed from there. See https://flatpak.org/setup/ for quick setup instructions for many distributions.

Host Requirements
Flatpak aims to run on a wide variety of systems. It is therefore conservative with required dependency versions and kernel features.
Currently, the main branch requires at least kernel version 5.8 (for
statx STATX_MNT_ID).
